Low Cost Clinics if you are not Unhoused

Currently, MDEF works with the unhoused through our partner organizations and caseworkers for veterinary assistance. If you or someone you know need veterinary assistance but are not unhoused (having no accommodation or shelter), here are some other community resources:

Shamrock Pets will sometimes be able to provide spay/neuter vouchers – Phone: 502-585-3220
Kentucky Humane Society SNIP Clinic provides lot-cost spay/neuter services. They spay/neuter bully breeds for free. They also have a financial aid program for those who qualify – Phone: 502-636-3491
Kentucky Humane Society Care-A-Van provides basic medical care. Requires scheduling an appointment online.
