Our Programs: What We do
We share not only our passion…but our compassion.
Along with our programs to help the homeless here in Louisville, Kentucky, our pet food bank located in Portland the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, and ourlow-cost vaccination and wellness clinics, we work hand-in-hand with other nonprofit organizations and caseworkers by providing important resources and volunteering in the community wherever we’re needed to help the homeless and underserved care for their pets without judgement.
We’re committed to contributing our energy and all the donations that we are given, and we hope that in doing so we help set an example for others to follow.
As more families struggle with difficult choices like paying the rent or buying food, some have to choose between keeping their pet and putting food on the table. The whole family suffers when money problems make it hard, or impossible, to care for a pet. But we’re here to help.

An estimated 3.5 million Americans are homeless. Between 5% to 10% of homeless people have pets that provide companionship, protection, and unconditional love.
